Businesses that buy telemarketing lists should be familiar with the federal Do Not Call Registry (or DNC Registry).  The DNC registry allows consumers to remove their names from telemarketing lists and allows them to limit the amount of telemarketing calls they receive.  For consumers this registry is great! It allows the dinnertime and late night sales calls to cease.  For businesses that buy telemarketing lists the registry can greatly decrease the number of available consumers to solicit.
